  • RECEPTION AMAZING ADVENTURES!

    Space

    We have learnt all about space and the solar system through our story "Whatever Next"! 

    We role played in a space station, made rockets out of shapes, coloured and labelled the planets and thought about what we would take on a moon picnic.

    We also learnt about the role of astronauts and how they survive in space, including what food they eat!

    On 2nd December, the Year 5 pupils were fortunate to spend the morning under the stars.  A visit from the amazing Astronomy Roadshow, and their fantastic Space Dome, allowed us to see contellations, planets and galaxies without having to leave Hayes!
