We have learnt all about space and the solar system through our story "Whatever Next"!
We role played in a space station, made rockets out of shapes, coloured and labelled the planets and thought about what we would take on a moon picnic.
We also learnt about the role of astronauts and how they survive in space, including what food they eat!
In Science, Year 1 have been learning about seasonal changes.
This half term, GNSA Primary have been celebrating Energy Saving Week!
Each class, led by their Eco-Master, took part in creating 5 pledges to follow throughout the week.
On 2nd December, the Year 5 pupils were fortunate to spend the morning under the stars. A visit from the amazing Astronomy Roadshow, and their fantastic Space Dome, allowed us to see contellations, planets and galaxies without having to leave Hayes!
On Thursday 11th November, Year 5 had the exciting opportunity to be part of a workshop hosted by SCS Railways.
Bandi Chhor Divas was celebrated at GNSA Primary to mark the historical release of the sixth Sikh guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, from the Mughal prison along with 52 kings in 1619.
Children learn the importance of making a stand!
Year 4 pupils gave an assembly on how we can all 'STEP UP' our recycling habits in school and at home in celebration of Recycling week. They shared useful tips and recapped on the importance of recycling and the impact recycling has on our world.
